Privacy Policy

This policy describes how PeDy - Trans s.r.o., Company ID 28004086, registered at 5. května 112, 339 01 Klatovy IV, Czech Republic, processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

What data we process

When you submit the enquiry form, we process the data you provide yourself: your name, company name, e-mail address, phone number and the content of your message (e.g. the transport specification).

Purpose and legal basis

  • Handling your enquiry and communicating with you — the legal basis is pre-contractual negotiations (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Website usage statistics — solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you grant via the cookie banner.

Retention period

We keep enquiry data for as long as necessary to handle your request, no longer than 24 months, unless further retention is required due to a concluded contract or a legal obligation.

Recipients and processors

To deliver form messages and run the website we use vetted processors (the web hosting provider, the form delivery service and, where consent has been given, Google Analytics). Some processors may operate servers outside the EU/EEA; in that case the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses).

Your rights

  • the right to access your personal data and obtain a copy,
  • the right to rectification or erasure, or restriction of processing,
  • the right to object to processing,
  • the right to data portability,
  • the right to withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent),
  • the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ), uoou.cz.
